Not straight vinegar, mind you. I mix about a half cup in a sink full of cold water and put the fruits or vegies in and swirl them around. For me, this is the best way to get rid of any germs. Especially since I have no idea who has put their hands on them! It only take a few minutes, then I spray clean with cold water and dry them off with a clean rag. Fruits like apples, plums, tomatoes, etc. with skin, I generally just clean with Dawn foam, rinse and done!
